P!NK is back with a heartbreakingly beautiful sound in her new single ‘What About Us’ off her seventh studio album titled ‘Beautiful Trauma’ set to be released October 13th. Making the announcement via her Instagram account while revealing the cover artwork, P!NK describes her enormous amount of pride for her upcoming LP saying, “I’m certifiably, insanely proud of this album. It’s been a while, and I’m grateful for all the years we’ve had. Looking forward to the next chapter with you.”

Approaching a more dance-pop sound, P!NK croons a sad song that longs for answers, belting questions like, “What about all the broken happy ever afters?” and, “What about all the plans that ended in disaster?”

P!NK worked exclusively with Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid and Steve Mac to pen the track. She also co-wrote and worked alongside a long list of talent for ‘Beautiful Trauma’ that includes Jack Antonoff, Julia Michaels, Max Martin and Greg Kurstin—guaranteeing her a hit album.

‘Beautiful Trauma’ is P!NK’s first album since her 2012 release of ‘The Truth About Love.’ Her resurgence back into music after almost five years has become a familiar one since the majority of us had gotten used to hearing her hits daily on the radio. Tracks like ‘Just Give Me A Reason,’ ‘Raise Your Glass,’ and ‘F**kin’ Perfect‘ were constantly stuck in people’s heads, slowly becoming staple songs of the decade—earning her 15 songs in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

P!NK is a certified popstar—with over 20 million Twitter followers, more than a handful of No. 1 singles and an ability to deliver an empowering anthem. After having sold over 42 million albums, P!NK has become a household name. Her familiarity with the music charts isn’t a surprising, one and the undoubted success of ‘Beautiful Trauma’ is something we’re entirely ready for.

‘Beautiful Trauma’ drops October 13th.
