Just after news broke that Louis Tomlinson bought a charity’s entire Amazon wishlist for Christmas, he’s quietly gone and donated $10,000 (about £7,244) for a 9-year-old girl’s medical expenses.
Rylee Sanford of Chatsworth, Georgia has a YouCaring page titled, ‘Smiles for Rylee needs Accessibility’ set up by her mother and sister. “Rylee is 9 years old and has bilateral close-lipped schizencephaly which ultimately causes her cerebral palsy. Schizencephaly is a very rare brain malformation which means her brain has 2 clefts on it,” the fundraiser’s description reads. “Rylee currently can’t walk without assistance, and she crawls around our house or we carry her.”
The fundraiser’s goal is to raise $10,000 to help make Rylee’s home more accessible for her and potentially cover some of the costs of stem cell treatments.
The description also includes a little bit about Rylee: “She loves music and animals. She can also be quite sassy but we love it. She loves Zayn, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Jojo Siwa, Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt.”
Zayn Malik also shared Rylee’s page on Twitter, which helped raise $1,900:

Louis must’ve then gotten the word that Rylee was a fan, because he donated the entire $10,000 goal in one go, bringing the total funds raised to over $12,000.
Louis’s donation came with the message, “Sending you all the love! Louis x”
