This month is ‘Pride Month’ and takes place in June to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. Lots of pride events and celebrations will take place over the next few weeks to celebrate sexuality. LGBTQA+ activist and YouTube phenomenon, Tyler Oakley, has chosen to do an 8-part series which will celebrate the LGBTQA+ experience throughout all of Pride Month.

For the past decade, Tyler has been open in sharing his story as well as being an active member of the community as an advocate and activist. This year, he plans to share the story of the community.

‘Chosen Family: Stories of Queer Resilience’ will share stories of resistance, expression, heartbreak, compassion that aims to celebrate queer life, amplify disenfranchised voices in the LGBTQA+ community and honour their history while fighting for their future. Not only will we get a weekly video with a new LGBTQA+ theme and exclusive videos, but a weekly limited edition charity shirt will be for sale benefiting different LGBTQA+ non profits.
