It was only a couple of months ago I was writing about artists from my childhood that I want to come back. Well, it looks like my prayers have been answered as Hanson are going on a world tour to celebrate 25 years of music!
As I’d previously mentioned, I missed out on an opportunity to see them in Cardiff. When the tour dates were announced last week I was a bit disheartened to see the only UK date was in London. I’d already missed out on seeing them before so I was damned sure that I wasn’t going to miss them again. Ok, so I’ve got the added expense of travel and accommodation – but I don’t mind seeing as I’ve been waiting 20 years to see them.
When tickets went on sale on last Friday, I was on the laptop poised to get mine. Within 5 minutes the concert had sold out but I got my ticket, woohoo! Needless to say there were many disappointed fans out there and the touts were already on the case of reselling at stupid prices. If you were one of those fans who missed out, fear not.

Extra date added
Hanson have only gone and added a second date at the Shepherds Bush Empire on Sunday 11th June.

Tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday 24th March

Looking at the other dates they have lined up, they may put on an extra date but I’m not sure. They’re off to Perth in Australia on June 15th so there’s not much time in between. If you’re looking to go, I’ve got my fingers crossed for you.
