‘The Girl With All The Gifts’ is based on the bestselling novel from M.R. Carey and has an incredible cast including Sennia Nanua, Gemma Arterton, Glenn Close and Paddy Considine. A brand new poster has been revealed for the film, and it’s beautiful.
The future of human kind is being destroyed by a mutated fungal disease that eradicates free will and turns its victims into flesh-eating “hungries”. The only ones who have not been hurt are a group of small children.
At an army base in rural England, this group of unique children are being studied and treated unkindly, like science experiences by biologist Dr. Caldwell. In spite of being infected with the zombie pathogen that has taken over the world, these children have normal thoughts and emotions – meaning that they are a vital part in helping to find a cure.
Amongst these children there is one girl, Melanie, who appears extraordinary from the rest. She is incredibly smart, inquisitive, imaginative and loves her favourite teacher Miss Justineau.
Melanie later on manages to escape from the base with Miss Justineau, Sergeant Parks and Dr. Caldwell. While her country is falling apart at the seams, she must try and discover who she is in the world. She must then decide not only her future, but the fate of humankind.
