The thriller that gripped the nation “The Girl On The Train” is being adapted into a huge film starring Emily Blunt, and finally a trailer has landed to give us an idea of what is to come. The book was huge when it was released back in January 2015 selling millions of copies and remaining a bestseller for many weeks.
In the thriller, Rachel (Blunt), who is devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily commute fantasising about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.
The film is set to grip the nation yet again as the book did last year. Many reviews of the book claimed it was the new ‘Gone Girl’ which itself had a popular film adaption. With any hope, ‘The Girl On The Train’ will match this success.
