Get a first look at Season 2 of Never Have I Ever
The coming-of-age comedy returns to Netflix in July.
Last spring’s breakout coming-of-age comedy, Never Have I Ever, is returning for a second season on Netflix, and the streamer released new photos in anticipation. The series was co-created by Mindy Kaling (of The Office fame) and is loosely based on her life growing up as an Indian-American girl.

Hopefully, we’ll get some answers to the several questions we have after last season’s cliffhangers. Will Devi and her family move back to India? Will we get an update on Kamala’s potential relationship? And, perhaps most importantly, with two guys now competing for Devi’s affection, will she choose Ben Gross or Paxton Hall-Yoshida?
Whether you are Team Ben or Team Paxton, we can’t forget about Devi’s mom, Nalini, and what looks like her own romantic storyline in Season 2. Actor and rapper Common is set to have a role in the series as Nalini’s rival coworker, mirroring Devi and Ben’s relationship as school rivals-turned-crushes. 13 Reasons Why actress Megan Suri has also been cast as a new student at Devi’s school.
Never Have I Ever has been widely praised for bringing more representation to our screens and for how it has explored themes of friendship, grief, and mental health. The good news is that we have plenty of time to rewatch the first season before the second one drops, as it’s rumored to hit Netflix sometime this summer.
