Let’s get real right now. I am the type of person to freak out over almost anything, especially TV shows. My friends and family aren’t quite on my level, which is unfortunate. There’s so many problems that we face on a weekly basis that no one really understands.

1. HIATUSES

That excruciating wait for the new season of your fave show, nope. Especially when there’s a really big cliffhanger and no answers. For me, it’s a long winter wait.
2. BINGE-WATCHING

For TV geeks like me, I either binge an entire season within a few days *cough* ‘Stranger Things’ *cough* or it’ll take me years. There’s no in-between. This can potentially be deadly for everyone around me.
3. FINISHING A TV SERIES

There’s no greater sadness than finishing a really great show. What else am I supposed to do with my life? Because nothing else matters anymore.
4. KILLING YOUR FAVE CHARACTER

The disrespect. How dare a writer screw with my emotions? I’ve grown attached to this character. And they’ve been ripped away from me. That shit stings. There needs to be lots of recovery.
5. THE CHARACTER YOU HATE DIES

The complete opposite to #4, the satisfaction is too real. There’s no better feeling than when the most despised character bites the dust. See you never.
6. CLIFFHANGERS

This one continues on from #1 but how frustrating are cliffhangers? I love them a lot when I can easily watch the next episode. When I can’t? All hell breaks loose. No one talk to me.
7. WHEN YOUR OTP BREAK UP

Imagine this. You’re rooting for this couple since the very first episode. And the writers get a brilliant idea to break them up. Uh, no. Who gives you the right? I feel personally victimised, to be honest. “They’re just a fictional couple.” No, you know nothing, Jon Snow.
8. WHEN THE NEW SEASON PREMIERES

September/October are the months where most TV shows make their return. I clear my schedule and get those snacks out, it’s time to become a hermit.
9. GETTING NO ANSWERS

Yes, ‘Pretty Little Liars‘, this one’s dedicated to you. Some shows make you spend hours upon hours of dedicated watching while giving you absolutely no answers to any questions. This isn’t good enough, please reevaluate your storyline.
10. WHEN YOUR FAVE SHOW GETS CANCELLED

WHY? I hate it when a really great show gets cancelled because the ratings aren’t good. Um, give it to another network. Or tie things up with a mini series or a TV movie. Don’t leave me hanging like this. So rude. FML.
Not going to lie, all these have happened to me. It’s tough being a huge TV geek, but it’s all worth it in the end.
