Do you want to play a game? OK, we know that’s a ‘SAW’ reference, so let us rephrase that. Do you want to see a game being taken over by the supernatural which goes horrifically wrong? Then this film will be right up your street.
With Halloween nearly upon us, it can only mean one thing when it comes to film genres – HORROR. Though we were pretty freaked out by the ‘Lights Out’ trailer, we have to admit that we got tingles of the spine variety when we saw the trailer for this film.
‘Ouija: Origin of Evil’ is directed by Mike Flanagan (who also directed the epic 2013 film Oculus) and you guessed it, is the prequel to the 2014 film ‘Ouija’.
After the success of ‘Ouija’ bringing in over $103 worldwide at the box office, you don’t need to be a clairvoyant to know that it was a no brainer to go ahead and release another Ouija based film.
Though in this prequel it has a totally different cast to encounter yet another terrifying tale. Kate Seigel and Annalise Basso (who both starred in Oculus) are accompanied by Elizabeth Reaser and Henry Thomas.
‘Ouija : Origin of Evil ‘ is out in UK cinemas on October 21st.
