The Tony Awards are this week – this is also known as the best day of the year for those who love all things Broadway. With James Corden hosting the awards this year, it was only right that he kidnapped some of New York’s finest talent, wasn’t it?
James went on his latest carpooling saga with ‘Hamilton’ star and creator Lin Manuel-Miranda and they jammed to songs from the show including ‘Alexander Hamilton’ and ‘Guns And Ships’. (Fun fact: ‘Hamilton’ is nominated for 16 Tony Awards this year!)
Shortly after all of that excitement they were joined by ‘The Sound of Music’ star Audra McDonald, and Broadway legends Jane Krakowski and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. The gang had some A+ song choices from Les Misérables’ ‘One More Day’ to Frank Valli’s ‘I Love You Baby’ – it was total bliss if we’re being honest.
