Harry Styles had the most social media mentions at the Met Gala
His sheer black Gucci ensemble, pearl earring, and two-toned manicure set social media ablaze.
Over here in Camp Harry, we were zero surprised to find out that Harry Styles took home the award for most social media mentions and engagements during last night’s Met Gala in New York City. His sheer black outfit for the “camp” theme was head-turning (we detail everything you need to know about it here) and tailor-made for shareability.
According to Talkwalker, a social listening and analytics company, Harry took first place with 347,000 mentions and 1.6 million engagements. Lady Gaga, even with her four outfits, only came in second with 266,600 mentions and 1.3 million engagements. There were 26.9 million engagements total for the event.
