What was the world even like before celebrity perfumes? Those are dark days not worth remembering.
Ariana Grande’s newest perfume is called ‘Sweet Like Candy’, and it features notes of sugar-frosted blackberry, creamy cashmere woods, marshmallow and vanilla. Almost sounds like a fragrant description of Ariana herself—sugary and fun.
She shared this photo yesterday with her 79.3 million Instagram followers:
The perfume’s packaging looks candy-sweet as well, and you may recognize it as the exact same shape as Ariana’s debut fragrance, ‘Ari’. The new color palette features a ballet slipper hue with a matching cute, fluffy pom pom on top. Every box is even “sealed with a kiss” with Ariana’s lip print and signature.
The name is a nod to these lyrics from the song ‘Moonlight’ on Ariana’s latest album ‘Dangerous Woman’:
He’s so bossy…
He makes me dance
Tryna sit in the back of his whip
And just cancel my plans
Sweet like candy
But he’s such a man
He knows just what it does
When he’s holding me tight
