Don’t you just love when an artist creates such an amazing song? Especially if that song just so happens to become a break-up anthem.
Well, two years ago, Sigrid did just that with her single “Don’t Feel Like Crying.”
This was the fourth single she released that helped set the tone of what her debut album Sucker Punch was going to sound like. Sigrid told NME, “There’s a certain grace to heartache. A sort of… epic grace! I like good, heartfelt pop songs.” Anyone who listens to this song can hear just that.
“Don’t Feel Like Crying” is not your typical break-up anthem. It isn’t a ballad that makes you want to stare out of a window and watch the rain pour outside. Instead, it elicits a sort of resilience that makes you want to dance instead of cry.
Accompanied with its infectious sound and lyrics, Sigrid creates a song that will constantly have you singing and belting – at least tonight, no, I don’t feel like crying!
