After the release of their third studio album and a sweetly executed livestream concert back in October of last year, Sam Smith released Love Goes: Live At Abbey Road Studios. To commemorate their only live performance of 2020, the album — available on streaming services now — includes 12 tracks that will make you want to groove and cry. A 13th track, “Young,” is available exclusively on the physical version of the album.
I love you. I hope you are loving the live album. Singing and playing at that time last year with my friends was something I never wanted to forget. So happy we released it and got it to you. Missing you all and counting down the days till we are together again x

“We’re gonna turn Abbey Road into a gay bar right now,” Sam says before performing their upbeat Calvin Harris collaboration, “Promises.”
With new twists on songs we love like “Dancing With a Stranger” and “Diamonds,” Sam proves they can give the audience something fresh every time. On “My Oasis,” the singer was accompanied by actress Jade Anouka, who wrote and recited a poem specifically for the show. The title track “Love Goes” was triumphantly performed alongside Labrinth and led to the final song, “Stay With Me.”
Sam also performed a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s ’80s hit, “Time After Time.” It’s a soulful rendition that also highlights the band’s contributions to the record and show. The song fits right into the tracklist with its themes of nostalgia and longing.
