This past weekend, J-Hope of BTS officially launched his highly anticipated solo tour, Hope On The Stage, in Seoul. Over the course of three unforgettable nights, he delivered a performance that redefined artistry, combining a massive stage production with a setlist that showcased every era of his journey as a rapper and dancer.

I tuned into the livestream of the final Seoul show via Weverse Concerts, and even through a screen, the energy was palpable. From the moment the intro music played to the last notes of the encore, anticipation filled the air. The audience at the venue did not disappoint—they sang, cheered, and chanted for J-Hope throughout the three-hour spectacle.

J-Hope delivered a full package of visuals, vocals, rap, and choreography. The setlist was a well-crafted blend of his two solo albums, Jack in The Box and Hope On The Street Vol. 1, along with select solo tracks from BTS albums and songs from his Hope World mixtape. Additionally, he thrilled the audience by performing BTS hits like MIC Drop, Bapsae (Silver Spoon), and Airplane, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

With a live band and an international team of dancers, J-Hope made the night even more special by debuting his upcoming single, Sweet Dreams, featuring Miguel, set for release on March 7. After the performance, he shared that following his completion of mandatory military service, he reflected on what kind of song he had yet to gift ARMY. That thought led him to create a love song, bringing Sweet Dreams to life in collaboration with Miguel. Just when I think I have a definitive favorite BTS song, one of them drops something new that completely changes the game—Sweet Dreams is now firmly on that list.

Speculation had been swirling about BTS members attending the Seoul shows, and while some of their parents were spotted in the audience on the second night, it was on the third and final night that we got undeniable proof—Jin himself was there. Before the encore, he had the cameras zoom in on him as he shouted, “J-Hope, I love you!” The rapper, visibly touched, acknowledged his hyung’s presence and expressed his gratitude when he returned for the encore.

Hope On The Stage will continue its journey across Asia, the United States, and Mexico in the coming months, with a special stop at Lollapalooza Berlin. Fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting this global event, as J-Hope continues to prove that his talent knows no bounds.
