On the evening of February 27th, I was sitting on my friend’s couch in Chelsea, NYC, scrolling through my Twitter feed waiting to see HSHQ tell the Harry standom who the lucky winner of a pair of tickets to the coveted Secret Session presented by SiriusXM and Pandora was.
I had easily called SiriusXM at least 1,500+ times by that evening, trying to get my hands on some tickets. I hadn’t had any luck, but I wasn’t giving up. When I booked my flight from Kansas to New York, I made my trip just long enough to include the night of the show — just in case. Turns out my persistence paid off because at 6:40 PM EST, I got the notification that HSHQ had sent me a message on Twitter.
I’m fairly sure that my heart stopped for at least a couple of seconds. I was the winner of the pair of tickets, and I was blessed enough to be seeing my favorite musician and human. After receiving the location of the secret show, I made my way to Brooklyn.
Mr. Styles gave us an interview, five songs, and another fabulous ‘fit on the evening of February 28th. Harry talked about everything, from his love of Wawa to whether he would possibly direct one of his own music videos in the future (spoiler alert: he said maybe if it seemed right).
According to Harry Styles Fashion Archive (@hsfasharchive), Harry donned a yellow polka dot sweater vest and flared pinstripe navy trousers from the LANVIN Fall 2020 collection. He completed the look with red Gucci boots and his signature strand of pearls.

Harry rocked the look while performing his hits “Lights Up,” “Watermelon Sugar,” and “Adore You” from his new album Fine Line. Between songs, he of course spent time talking to the small crowd of fewer than 650 people in Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg. He even jokingly told a fan that threw a watermelon-shaped hat on stage that he wouldn’t give it back to them when they asked because “them’s the rules.”
He finished the show with his crowd-pleasing cover of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” and a purely rock ‘n’ roll performance of “Kiwi.” After getting baptized by Harry’s traditional water throw during “Kiwi” and screaming my lungs out, I felt appropriately warmed up for another hour in his presence.
The Secret Session presented by SiriusXM and Pandora felt like a great precursor to Love On Tour 2020. Fine Line is available now and tickets to Love On Tour are currently on sale.
