The ‘Crush’ singer was definitely the crush of many people in the audience during this particular tour stop. David packed the room with attendees of all ages who were genuinely there for him. Many confidently knew every word to his songs and some were not shy about it. There were some marriage proposals screamed from the back of the venue and constant loud commentary from fans in hopes of getting his attention.
The show was intimate due to the nature of the venue and the performance put on by David. He made sure to speak in between portions of his set and opened up about not only his music but also his personal life. This included fun facts about his latest album, ‘Postcards In The Sky’, and insight on his spirituality.
David performed unreleased music — and teased that it may be released soon. He also pleased fans by playing the perfect collection of both old and new songs. The energy put into this performance was undeniably inspiring. He gave his all and took the meaning of that phrase to a whole new level. Every note was given the same amount of attention and precision as the one before. Between his dancing, interaction with the crowd and powerful vocals, David Archuleta captured Boston’s eyes and ears.
With an ideal combination of all aspects to a live show, Archuleta was able to excite and please a very diverse crowd. He played melodies as well as covers to popular songs such as ‘Shallow’ by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper and ‘Happier’ by Marshmello featuring Bastille. It was a powerful and intimate performance by an especially talented artist. If you are thinking about seeing David Archuleta on tour this spring, be sure to purchase tickets before they sell out, because this is a show you are not going to want to miss.
