As the Jonas Brothers are gearing up for their third Las Vegas headline residency and to celebrate, we’re listing their top ten songs. These songs have been selected from their singles. Being a Jonas Brothers fan myself, this is also coming from a fan’s POV so… trust me.
10. Paranoid
This song debuted on Radio Disney in 2009 and was a single released from the Jonas Brothers fourth album Lines, Vines and Trying Times. The song is extremely catchy and the music video is nothing short of iconic.
9. Tonight
Tonight is the Jonas Brothers’ third highest-charting single to date and was released all the way back in 2009 even though it was recorded in 2008. Nick did once admit that it was his favourite song on the A Little Bit Longer album.
8. Only Human
Only Human feels like it could have been released in the 1980s with its funky backing music; it is the epitome of a pop song. This reflected in the song reaching no.18 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
7. A Little Bit Longer
One of the most sentimental singles that the Jonas Brothers have released is A Little Bit Longer and was written by Nick after finding he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It has such a personal feel and I know several fans whom this song means so much to.
6. Year 3000
This classic cover of Busted’s original song that threw the Jonas Brothers into fame. It was their first song to chart and it peaked at no.31 in the US, selling over 1 million copies.
5. SOS
SOS was the Jonas Brothers’ first ever international and UK single. It soared to no.13 in the UK Singles chart, proving they were here to stay. Fast forward sixteen years later and they’re still topping the charts globally!
4. Lovebug
Sounding like a traditional love song in the beginning then turning into a rock-pop song, LoveBug showed a new side to the Jonas Brothers. They were branching out and trying alternate sounds. It charted at no.29 on the US Mainstream Top 40.
3. Fly With Me
Fly With Me was released in 2009 and can be heard in the closing credits of Night At The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. An orchestral version of the song can also still be heard in a certain parade at Walt Disney World. I’ve got to say this is one of my personal favourites.
2. Sucker
Nick, Joe and Kevin delighted fans by announcing their return to music as a band in 2019 and soon after released Sucker. For many fans, including myself, this song is extremely special as it is the first piece of music we got from the trio in almost 5 years. Sucker soared straight to no.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and even got the band nominated for their very first Grammy.
1 . Burnin’ Up
Their biggest (and arguably most recognisable) single to date is Burnin’ Up! Burnin’ Up did incredibly well in the charts and peaked at no.5 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Not only is the song immensely catchy but Selena Gomez (Nick’s then girlfriend) also starred in the music video, which no doubt helped the views to sky rocket.
I feel like I’ve been on a nostalgic Rollercoaster looking back at all of those songs. Hint, Rollercoaster is my favourite song from Happiness Begins!
