If there’s one artist who definitely never sits still then it’s YUNGBLUD. The singer is currently travelling around the world with his Life On Mars tour and in the meantime he keeps releasing new music as well. After teasing a song for several days, he dropped a brand new song called ”Memories” together with WILLOW today. Honestly, it’s a collab we never thought we needed.
”Memories” is a sound from these two rockstars we didn’t hear before, usually we hear some rock and punk in both of their songs but “Memories” is more like a pop-punk track, which will definitely be good for on the radio.
In an interview YUNGBLUD shared that the song is definitely not about love but about traumas you may have experienced and voicing them to the world.
“There’s something freeing about turning painful memories from your past into lessons for your future – I want people to scream this song out and it be cathartic. It’s about coming together and shedding pain, turning it into positive energy and sharing the burden with each other,” the singer said.
Besides a brand new song, the two also dropped a brand new music video which is an amazing visual masterpiece where you can see them both in a subway full of graffiti and other places who look pretty abandoned.
YUNGBLUD will be playing at lots of festivals this summer, if you got excited to see the singer live then go check out his upcoming dates.
