VERIVERY are back with their very first album, SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 3: WHOLE], just over a month after the release of the single-album SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 0 : WHO].
SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 3: WHOLE] is the closing chapter of the ‘SERIES ‘O’’ era, an era that saw VERIVERY grow incredibly as artists while exploring and facing all the sides of their personalities.
SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 3: WHOLE] is led by the title track ‘Undercover’, which has an unexpected but intriguing intro that brings listeners to the song with a fantastic composition and vocals perfectly layered. The music video for the leading single has all the cool aesthetics and an incredible choreography that highlights the boys’ dancing skills.
SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 3: WHOLE] features 12 tracks, including the singles ‘O’ and ‘Our Spring’ – released in the single-album SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 0 : WHO] – and it is VERIVERY portfolio, showing the group’s versatility and originality in approaching music, and their skills in composition as the boys wrote and composed four of the tracks. On the album, VERIVERY are not shying away from exploring and working with different music styles, from Hip-Hop infused with EDM, 90s R&B, Brit-pop to pop-rock.
SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 3: WHOLE] and VERIVERY have indeed attracted interest, and the Hanteo chart has confirmed it; the album hit the #2 spot on the ‘Daily Physical Album’, as it recorded 35,388 copies sold, breaking VERIVERY’s record.
