Since the release of the UK number one single ‘Not Letting Go’ featuring Jess Glynne over a year ago, Tinie Tempah has been releasing some pretty epic tracks. From ‘Girls Like’ featuring Zara Larsson, ‘Chasing Flies’ featuring Nea to his latest offering ‘Text From Your Ex’ featuring Tinashe. After these numerous releases, I’ve been wondering when Tinie would finally release an album.
Can you believe it’s been four years since the release of his last album ‘Demonstration’? Fast forward to 2017 and we’ll soon be hearing even more songs in the form of his third studio album ‘Youth’ which is set to be released next Friday, March 31st.
Who will feature on the album?
We’ve already heard the tracks which feature Jess Glynne, Zara Larsson and Tinashe but who else can we expect to hear? Looking at the track listing there’ll be tracks featuring the likes of Kid Ink, Wizkid, Bipolar Sunshine and Jake Bugg, to name just a few.
Of course a new album must mean there’ll be a tour to follow, right? Tinie recently performed an intimate gig at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire last month prior to the BRITs as part of the Warner label night. The concert was in conjunction with ‘War Child’ which raised money for children whose lives have been affected by war.
When can I see Tinie Tempah perform?
Although nothing has been announced yet, there will be an opportunity to see Tinie Tempah perform on the Jewel of the Seas ship. I haven’t made it up – there’s an actual festival cruise. That’s right, if you fancy cruising with Mr Tempah himself, the ship is setting sail from 11th – 18th June. You’ll get to party with Tinie, Dela Swing, wAFF and more whilst visiting Rome and stopping to party on the Greek islands Santorini and Mykonos. You’ll drop by the South of France before finally returning to Italy. A travelling concert cruise sounds pretty awesome to me!
I’m not sure what I’m more excited about, the release of ‘Youth’ in just over a week or the prospect of cruising with him! It looks like 2017 is set to be an awesome year for both Tinie and his fans.
