The Vamps have treated their fans to some brand new music for the first time in two years. Seat At The Table was released on Friday, in time for Christmas.
The Christmas track was written and produced by the foursome alongside Joe Kearns and Iain James. It explores what it’s like to grief for a loved one at Christmas, it’s a beautiful song with an extremely special meaning to it.
The band said of the song: “Seat At The Table is a track we’ve had for a while that was about remembering loved ones that have been with us on our own individual journeys but are sadly no longer. It felt like a really good time for us to share this with our fans, it wasn’t our intention when we started our anniversary planning but the love we have felt and with Christmas coming it just felt right. Thanks to all our fans, the next decade with you is going to be amazing but let’s embrace our memories of those we have lost and raise a glass to them.”
As well as releasing the song, Brad, James, Connor and Tristan had some other exciting news to share with their fans. From 1st December, they’re launching a brand new website called The Vamps+. The site will give fans backstage access to exclusive content of the band including live performances, live streams plus never seen before photos and videos.
All of this comes just as The Vamps are gearing up to embark on their Greatest Hits world tour starting in Manchester this week. The tour will see the band perform in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. For more information on dates, have a look on their site.
Seat At The Table is available now. The Vamps + will launch on 1st December, keep locked in on the bands’ socials for the latest updates.
