The Driver Era are back with a brand new song, ‘Rumours’, which they’ve been teasing their fans with over the last week. The duo, which consists of brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch, released snippets on TikTok and Instagram, leading up to the full release last Friday.
‘Rumours’ is true to the The Driver Era’s unique style and sound. It does not sound out of place in their discography, it’s extremely groovy and catchy. NME commented: “The Driver Era have set their sights on Hollywood and chart domination.”
Ross said of the song:
Rumours these Rumours, no one really knows… The internet doesn’t always have the facts. We wrote a song about it and we hope you like it.
The new single follows an extremely successful summer festival run which saw The Driver Era take to the stage at some of the world’s biggest music festivals in the US and Europe. It also follows Ross Lynch staring in Troye Sivan’s new music video for ‘One Of Your Girls’, which has already racked up over 7 million views. You can watch it below.
