It has been a long wait for patient fans of The Driver Era, who have only just announced the rescheduled dates for their UK and European tour.
Alternative indie pop-rock duo of brothers, Ross and Rocky Lynch, first shot to fame through featuring a lot on Disney Channel, with Ross playing the titular character in Austin and Ally. They are both former members of R5, a pop band that they were in with their siblings Riker Lynch and Rydel Lynch alongside their best friend, Ellington Ratliff. R5 toured the world, as a five-piece, and sold countless records.
Now Ross and Rocky are bringing their brand new project, The Driver Era, to the UK and Europe and will be singing songs from their sophomore album Girlfriend. They’ve toured the US as a duo twice now and also released two albums but haven’t had a chance to perform in the UK yet. Their original tour was planned to take place in 2020 but has been rescheduled three times.
The Driver Era have thanked their UK and European fans for being ‘patient’. They’ve also added a few shows and even upgraded venues so there’ll be more tickets available. Tickets are available here.
Luckily, I already have tickets to London and Manchester, and I’m going to try for Newcastle too, so hopefully, I will finally be able to see them this year! Are you going to get tickets? If so, where will you be seeing The Driver Era?
