What an exciting day for fans of The Driver Era!
The Driver Era have released a brand new single today and also tied in an album announcement. The brother duo, Ross and Rocky Lynch, have been constantly teasing ‘Same Old Story’ on their socials and HQ account recently.
‘Same Old Story’ is a bouncy and energetic song. It offers an extremely unique sound that only The Driver Era are able to perfect. The song actually wouldn’t have sounded out of place in the 1980s with its 80s-inspired tones. It also lets fans know what to expect for the upcoming album.
Not only have they released ‘Same Old Story’ but fans can now look forward to a fourth studio album. The Driver Era have confirmed their next album, Obsession, is coming and that it will be available everywhere from 11th April.
Obsession will consist of 11 songs including ‘Same Old Story’ and other previous singles such as ‘Touch’, ‘Don’t Walk Away’ and ‘You Keep Me Up At Night’. This upcoming album promises to be the best The Driver Era album yet. You can pre-order or pre-save the album now right here.
