Fans of Taylor first got to hear a snippet of her version of “Wildest Dreams” when the song was used during a trailer for the film Spirit Untamed. Fans then began to speculate whether the next re-recorded album that Taylor would drop would be her critically acclaimed album 1989.
However, instead, Taylor would go on to share that her album Red (Taylor’s Version) would be the next one in line to be re-recorded and would be released on November 19. Red will be the second album from the singer’s music catalog to be re-recorded. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) was released in early April of this year.
There’s no telling when Taylor will release more songs from her version of 1989, however, “Wildest Dreams” is a great preview to her version of this song and soon, one of her best albums.
