GOT7’s Park Jinyoung lends his voice to the Korean Drama Yumi’s Cells 2 OST with the single ‘Shining On Your Night’.
‘Shining On Your Night’ is an acoustic pop song that wants to comfort listeners through its harmonious melody, Jinyoung’s crystalline and sweet voice and its caring lyrics. The lyrics – sang from the view of Yoo Babi to Yumi – want to give comfort and hope to Yumi – and listeners – who are tired and exhausted from everyday life. Jinyoung sings, “I’ll be the moon just for you / So you can breathe in me / Darkness and loneliness will all be over / They won’t exist / ‘Cause you’re my star”.
Based on the popular webtoon Yumi’s Cells, the drama tells the story of Yumi, the door next door who works, eats, grows through life and love experiences with her cells. Following the massive success of the first season, season 2 is raising expectations one episode at a time, also thanks to the introduction of the character Yoo Babi, played by Park Jinyoung. In particular, Jinyoung is collecting the viewers’ hearts with his role as Babi and acting skills.
