Looking forward to NCT 127 fourth album repackage Ay-Yo? The group shared the album details for the A and B versions!

Version A follows the carefree LA concept introduced with the first image teasers while version B is themed with the latest indie-grunge concept. Both versions include everything you need to have: posters, photobooks, postcards and photo cards.

Ahead of the release of Ay-Yo, NCT 127 will hold a virtual concert in partnership with Roblox. The “NCT 127 Concert Experience” will be held for three days from 9 am on January 28th (KST) to 4 pm on the 30th.

Ay-Yo is set to be released on 30 January at 6 pm KST.

The group teaser images have been dropped, showing NCT 127’s perfect visuals paired with unmatched charisma. As the nine members pose together for the three different group shots we get to witness the visual power and strong character this comeback, and the members, hold.

For this comeback and for the title track ‘Ay-Yo’ the “Ultimate Performance King” will perform a new style of choreography with an energetic groove. ‘Ay-Yo’ is a wild hip-hop dance song that highlights the song’s intensity using groovy movements. Rie Hata creates the choreography; Rie Hata is a world-renowned choreographer who participated in several NCT choreography.

Yuta, Jungwoo and Haechan‘s teaser images are capturing everyone’s attention!

In addition to the individual teaser images for the three members, we now have more details about the third new song to be featured on Ay-Yo.

The title is ‘Skyscraper (摩樓)’ and is described as a powerful hip-hop track with ambition; the message in the lyrics is about challenging ambition and constantly jumping above the limits and climbing higher like a skyscraper above the city. Taeyong and Mark are credited with rap-making.

Moreover, NCT 127 have announced plans to hold a virtual concert in partnership with Roblox. The “NCT 127 Concert Experience” will be held for three days from 9 am on January 28th (KST) to 4 pm on the 30th; the concert will take place every hour, making it easier for fans worldwide to watch NCT 127 perform at any time and anywhere.

This is the first time a K-Pop artist performs on the metaverse platform Roblox; the group’s lively 3D avatars will perform their hit singles, including ‘2 Baddies (질주)’, ‘Sticker’ and ‘Kick It’. Before the concert, additional content will be available for fans to experience, such as limited edition games, avatar items inspired by NCT 127’s stage costumes, cheering lightsticks that can be shaking like during in-person concerts, treasure hunting in virtual spaces themed Neon Seoul and more.

Ay-Yo is set to be released on 30 January at 6 pm KST.

NCT 127 have released more individual teaser images for the second concept of the highly-anticipated repackage album Ay-Yo, out on 30 January.

Posing in front of the lenses this time are Mark, Jaehyun and Taeil.

The title song ‘Ay-Yo‘ has been described as a hip-hop dance song that combines intense drum lines with wild vocals. It has been composed by KENZIE – who previously wrote for NCT 127 ‘Favorite’, ‘LIMITLESS’ and ‘Punch’. The lyrics contain the message of creating endlessly sustainable values in NCT 127’s own way in a new era that has an uncertain tomorrow, changes in the environment that seem to last forever and requires ethical transparency.

Moreover, the song ‘DJ’ is a reinterpretation of the 70s sounds into a funky uptempo genre, with a harmonica melody flowing over jazz piano. As for the lyrics, the members would become DJs in the middle of the night and give a special moment with their own playlist; Taeyong and Mark participated in the rap-making, adding to NCT 127‘s unique personality.

Ay-Yo is set to be released on 30 January at 6 pm KST.

NCT 127 started to share a new set of teaser images introducing the second concept for the upcoming fourth album repackage Ay-Yo, out on 30 January. 

The new images show striking contrast to the previously introduced concept. The members exude stylish rockstar vibes, donning a combination of black and white outfits, including leather jackets and 00s indie-inspired suits. The first members to introduce the new concept are Taeyong, Doyoung and Johnny.

NCT 127 have started to unveil the promotional schedule and content for their upcoming repackaged fourth album, Ay-Yo, set to be released on 30 January. Ay-Yo is the repackaged version of NCT 127’s fourth full-length album, 2 Baddies (질주), released on September 2022.

Ay-Yo contains a total of 15 songs, including three new songs: ‘Ay-Yo’, DJ (디제이)’ and ‘Skyscraper (摩天樓; 마천루)’ and the 12 songs from 2 Baddies (질주). NCT 127 has begun to release various teaser images through the band’s official social media channel, starting from the schedule poster. After unveiling the first set of teaser images for all nine members and group images introducing the concept, NCT 127 will release a second set of teaser images, the track video, a third set of third images and ultimately the music video teaser.

In the individual teaser images, NCT 127’s new look showcases the group’s hip and trendy charm that matches LA’s free and lively vibe. In each teaser, we see the members showcasing their unique charms and individuality with cool, relaxed, yet sensuous poses and intense gazes against the backdrop of LA. The group images maximise the group’s unique style and charms, drawing even more attention to the album’s concept.

NCT 127’s fourth studio album, 2 Baddies (질주), was a global success; in addition to selling over 1.5 million copies, it debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, making them only the second K-pop artist in history to land three albums in the top five of the Billboard 200.

Meanwhile, NCT 127 is holding their second world tour, “NEO CITY – THE LINK”, in North and South America, performing in Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Brazil, Sao Paulo, Chile, Bogota, Colombia, and Mexico City.
