She Is Coming — that’s the title of Miley Cyrus‘s 2019 EP; it’s also the perfect description to define the singer’s latest announcement.
Across her social media platforms yesterday, Cyrus teased her fans with a short yet exciting clip. In the video, as traffic and people pass by, in the background, a billboard displays the message ‘NEW YEAR, NEW MILEY.’
Naturally, the announcement caused fans to speculate that Cyrus would release new music very soon. But exactly when?

Two years ago, the singer shared new music with the release of her seventh studio album, Plastic Hearts. Quickly becoming a fan favorite, the critically acclaimed album solidified Cyrus’s stamp on rock music and garnered praise from many. The New York Times even described that the rock genre was in good hands with Cyrus.
And now, with this latest announcement, one can only guess if Cyrus’s rock era will continue. But with a clue like a countdown on the singer’s website showcasing the days until all is revealed, one can assume that all questions will be answered the same day as Cyrus hosts for the second time her special, Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party.
