Louis Tomlinson has received the Guinness World Record for most tickets sold for a livestreamed concert by a solo male artist.

As shared on the Guinness World Record’s website, the “Kill My Mind” singer sold 160,000 tickets worldwide for his charity livestreamed concert Live from London, which he hosted in December of 2020.

The livestreamed charity event raised over more than $1 million for charities like Crew Nation, FareShare, Stagehand as well as the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

In addition, with the pandemic putting a pause on live music, touring crews were out of work since March 2020. But with the Live from London event, part of the portions that had been raised from the concert also went towards Louis’s touring crew.

In 2020, Louis’s livestreamed concert was the third-biggest in terms of tickets that were sold — just trailing behind BTS and Dua Lipa. For Louis, this is a major accolade in the singer’s career as he continues to embark on new and exciting projects.

Just recently, eagle-eyed fans noticed that a new song titled “I Broke It All” had been registered on PRS with Louis being listed as a co-writer. Plus, just a couple of days ago, he also shared a picture on Instagram of him in the studio recording music.

And with a world tour beginning in February of 2022, we can’t wait to see what Tomlinson will bring to the tour. With the success of his Live from London show, we’ve got a feeling that this tour will be just as huge — maybe even more so.
