Joji has returned with a brand new single, titled ‘Run’.
In his latest offering the 88rising’s finest artist breathy delivers a slow and mellow tune with melancholy lyrics exploiting Joji’s detriments with love. The track features Joji in disarray over his feelings for a someone who is now in a new relationship with someone else. He feels as if he has no choice but to just “run” from his feelings.
For ‘Run’, Joji has enlisted Justin Parker as producer. Parker, who collaborated with Lana Del Rey and Rihanna, seems to push Joji in a new direction, with soft vocals more fleshed out and polished, crisp and smooth passionate guitar solos, punchy drums and catch bass-lines.
Joji shows growth once again with this new single.

In the icy and at times claustrophobic music video – Premiered on Friday, February 7 – Joji walks through different scenarios while trying to escape from the back of a limousine. The video reminds of an episode of “Black Mirror” and “The Martian” and you can watch it below.
