James McVey, the lead guitarist from The Vamps, has announced his very first solo single that will be out later this week. ‘Dancing on the Head of a Needle’ will be his first song away from The Vamps but no fear, he has promised to continue with The Vamps alongside his new solo venture.
James has shared snippets of the song on his TikTok and Instagram accounts, teasing fans. You can watch one of his TikToks down below. It has attracted the utmost support from The Vamps’s fans, praising James for his songwriting and branching out to release his solo music.

James is not the first member of The Vamps to dabble in music of his own. Bandmate and bass player of The Vamps, Connor Ball, is part of the musical duo The Lunar Year. The Lunar Year were formed in 2021 and consists of Connor and Sasa Macek, known for being in Cheat Codes.
The Vamps are currently finishing up their summer tour in celebration of their 10-year anniversary. The tour took them all around the UK and is expected to conclude next week in Dublin.
