After weeks of rumors and days of teasing, HAIM dropped the remix of their song “Gasoline” featuring Taylor Swift. The new collaboration comes two months after the sisters were featured on “no body, no crime” from Taylor’s newest album evermore.

Originally on the trio’s critically acclaimed album Women in Music: Pt. III, the song is reimagined with Taylor singing the second verse and new lyrics in the bridge: “Strike a match, strike a match, watch it blow/Want you bad, want you bad, don’t you know?”

Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim have been friends with Taylor for more than six years, and they’ve even opened for her during several 1989 World Tour stops. We’re just grateful that they’ve given us not one, but two collabs now.

“Since we released WIMPIII in June, Taylor had always told us that Gasoline was her favorite,” said the sisters on Instagram. “She brought such amazing ideas and new imagery to the song and truly gave it a new life.”
