Days after announcing her upcoming album, The Loneliest Time, Carly Rae Jepsen has released a new single, “Beach House.”
“Beach House” is produced by Alex Hope and co-written by Jepsen, Hope, and Nate Cyphert. It is the second single to be released after “Western Wind.”

The song is about the wild unpredictability of online dating.
In this dance anthem, Jepsen sings about her dating mishaps and huge disappointment as she tries to ask for transparency from her suitors. It’s a reminder of just how awkward and treacherous dating apps can be.
The Loneliest Time will be released on October 21. In the meantime, you can catch Jepsen on The Not So Nice Tour, starting in September.
