Everything Ariana Grande touches turns into a multi-platinum hit. Now she’s serving her fifth studio album on another platinum platter. After her 2018 LP ‘Sweetener‘ dominated the charts with smash hits like ‘God is a woman,’ ‘no tears left to cry,’ and ‘breathin,’ her next album aptly titled ‘thank u, next’ is coming quick and with vengeance.
With the title track as the pop star’s first No. 1 single and her most recent ‘7 rings’ which pummeled Spotify’s 24-hour streaming record with 15 million streams, this compilation of brand new songs will be a definite smash.
Grande recently took to Twitter to announce the release date of her highly-anticipated record and even revealed its cover and tracklist. She delved into the significance behind the cover and what inspired each of the tracks. She hints at an R&B-infused dark pop album that centers on a more unconventional take on love and relationships.

Grande is entering an era that unveils her self worth—she’s sure of herself even if she doesn’t think so. We trust her to bring us peace in discovering a love for ourselves even when life knocks us down. As a consistent staple in pop music, it’s almost undeniable Grande will remain one of the most powerful women in music this year.
Ariana Grande’s ‘thank u, next’ is set to be released Feb. 8.
