The sensational success of K-pop group aespa doesn’t stop; After the release of their third mini album MY WORLD, which debuted on #1 on the Billboard’s Album Sales Chart. SM Entertainment’s successful girl group is making a comeback with an English single; ‘Better Things’.
With catchy hooks and empowering lyrics, aespa are showing a different side of themselves; KARINA, GISELLE, WINTER, and NINGNING are more confident than ever and have other things to do than being in love.
The music video is assisted by eye-pleasing visuals, where the four girls are looking for a creature which makes them end up on a tropical paradise which matches completely the vibe of the song; a breezy but yet still a summer hit.
‘Better Things’ is co-written by the British singer-songwriter RAYE; with lyrics like “I wasn’t ever sure that I loved you, but I was always sure you would let me down…” and the on the chorus ”I got better things to do with my time, better things to do with my time than you!” this song is definitely giving power to the people out there with a broken heart.
