New Hope Club is an emerging British pop band whom I’m sure any fans of The Vamps have all heard of. After signing them to their record label ‘Steady Records’ last year, The Vamps are now about to take New Hope Club out on their upcoming UK arena tour, which is pretty exciting. In the midst of their rising success, they gave us a few moments to get to know them a little better.

First off, how did the name of the group come about?

We had lots and lots of names on a list, and we showed a them to one of our friends. New Hope Club really stood out to us so we thought the idea of having all our fans to join the club and for everyone to be apart of it was really cool.

Can you describe your sound in 3 words?

ENERGY, GUITAR & FUN.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

The Beatles, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Ed Sheeran.

You’re supporting The Vamps on their upcoming tour. What can we expect from your set?

New songs, lots of energy and for everyone to be having a good time.

You’ve covered both Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ and Harry Styles‘ ‘Sign of the Times’. What’s your favourite song you’ve covered?

‘Sign Of The Times’ because we put in a lot of effort to get the awesome song out as soon as possible.

With Reece being in the public eye since the ‘X Factor‘ and everyone in the group being rather young, how do you keep yourself grounded with your ever-growing success?

Seeing our families and really appreciating all the amazing things we are doing,

What one place would you love to visit that you haven’t been yet?

The Philippines!

Which artist would you most like to collaborate with and why?

Ed Sheeran, because he is such a talented writer, and to have the chance to collaborate with him would be unbelievable.

Finally, what can we expect from the New Hope Club in this coming year?

New Songs, lots and lots of video content and we will be touring all over world meeting new people, playing shows and seeing places we never imagined we could visit.

Thanks boys! Catch them on their upcoming tour with The Vamps. You can grab tickets from Ticketmaster.
