Last month I introduced you to MiC LOWRY, the Liverpudlian band who’ve scored a slot supporting Justin Bieber on the European leg of his ‘Purpose’ tour. On Friday, the band released their debut single ‘Oh Lord’ and it’s the perfect R’n’B-pop tune.
With the release of this track, I’ll know at least one song they’ll perform when I see them live next month. I don’t know about you, but I feel a bit like a spare part when I’m at a concert watching the support act and don’t know any of their songs.

The band have competition this week as a whole plethora of song have also been unleashed, take a look at some other picks below.
Emeli Sande – ‘Hurts’
At the beginning of the month I wrote about Emeli Sande’s comeback. Her new single ‘Hurts’ is unbelievable. She’s not had a single out for some time and this track is a real contender for the Number One spot.

Years & Years – ‘Meteorite’
Years & Years haven’t released any music for over a year but they’re back with ‘Meteorite’ which featured on the OST for ‘Bridget Jones’ Baby’. This one’s going to be insanely popular.

Adding to the list of artists coming out of the woodwork after a stint away is Professor Green. ‘Back On The Market’ is his first single in over two years, and following the split from his ex-wife Millie Mackintosh.

Calvin Harris – ‘My Way’

This follows his Number 2 single ‘This Is What You Came For’ featuring Rihanna. He’s also had massive success with ‘You’re Not Alone’ and ‘Summer’ so I’m expecting this track to be in the Top 5 at least!
