After the horrific events of last week’s terrorist attack at Ariana Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena, a benefit concert was announced a few days after by Ariana herself on Twitter.
More details are now surfacing on what exactly we can expect at the concert, who will appear and where exactly it is being held at. After many celebrities such as Harry Styles, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez sent out tweets stating their sorrow for the victims and their families, the Manchester attack tribute concert lineup has been revealed.
It was previously announced that the benefit concert would be held at a different venue in Manchester instead of Manchester Arena. It’s now been confirmed that the Old Trafford Cricket Ground will be the venue for the tribute concert. The venue can hold upwards of 60,000 people, nearly triple what Manchester Arena can hold. The date of the concert has been announced as Sunday June 4th, with tickets being available this Thursday.
The tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster here. Previous ticket holders from the May 22nd show are able to register for free tickets for the show.
Finally, after a slew of mega popstar appearances was teased, the official lineup has been confirmed. With Ariana headlining, other performers include:
- Justin Bieber
- Katy Perry
- Miley Cyrus
- Niall Horan
- Take That
- Usher
- Coldplay
- Pharell.
- JUST ADDED: Little Mix
- JUST ADDED: Robbie Williams
All proceeds from the benefit concert will go the families affected by the attack on Manchester arena.
