Lilly Singh makes her big screen debut doing what she does best… vlogging!
Lilly Singh is smashing it right now. Fresh from releasing her new book, Lilly has just been given the role as a vlogger in an upcoming movie!
The Canadian YouTube sensation has already made special appearances in films such as ‘Bad Moms’ and ‘Dr. Cabbie’ as well as lending her voice to miniature unicorn characters in ‘Ice Age: Collision Course’, now she’s joined the cast of the cinematic adaptation of American writer Ray Bradbury’s dystopian novel ‘Fahrenheit 451’.
The novel takes place in a dystopian society, where books are banned (so we’d have trouble surviving there, then). Firemen burn any books found, which gives the book its name ‘Fahrenheit 541’, which is the temperature which causes paper to catch fire.
Singh’s character, Raven, is a vlogger who joins the authority in its propagandist mission by broadcasting the book burning on her channel.
This could be quite the major breakthrough in acting for Miss Singh and we’re so bloody excited for her!
