Jon Klaasen has released his first single since competing on the final season of American Idol earlier this year.
‘Holding Me Back’ was released in January but is receiving another push after Jon reached the Top 51 of the competition, and has now published a music video for the single.
Jon co-wrote the single himself alongside Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Meghan Trainor’s songwriter Isaac Hasson and former Nickelodeon star Mandy Rain – remember her?
Speaking of working with Jon, Mandy says: “It’s always such a great time working with Jon. So much talent at such a young age. Co-writing was seamless, and flowed, and was almost as fun as shooting a video where I got to shove ice cream in Jon’s face and wander Santa Monica with such a down to earth, talented guy!”
