Introducing: Hannah Grace
If you haven’t listened to any of Hannah Grace’s music by now, then where have you been? In 2013, she was lucky enough to sing backing vocals for Gabrielle Aplin on her sell-out UK ‘English Rain’ tour and also joined her at Glastonbury in 2014. Towards the end of 2014, she even got to support Hozier on tour! Following that, she released her debut E.P entitled ‘Meant to be Kind’ which had an amazing response.
One of the tracks on the EP was ‘Broke’ which was chosen by iTunes as their single of the week in the UK, France, Netherlands, Italy, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Since then, she’s made a name for herself as a solo artist. Hannah’s been working on her own music alongside attending the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff where she studies jazz vocals.

Despite studying jazz vocals, Hannah is an extremely diverse vocalist. Her music is heavily influenced by genres including folk, soul, jazz and pop. Over the years, she has covered numerous songs which she has uploaded to her YouTube account, from David Grey to just 2 weeks ago a fantastic cover of Nelly Furtado‘s ‘I’m Like A Bird’. In addition to uploading covers, she has recently released a cover of Fat Boy Slim’s ‘Praise You’. You may recognise the track as it is currently the soundtrack of the recent Lloyds Bank advert.
I wonder how long it will be until we get an official music video for the song. Let’s hope that she releases another E.P soon (or better still, an album).
