Harry Styles goes solo, Louis Tomlinson becomes a judge, and Niall Horan gets political
This has been a crazy episode of Keeping Up With One Direction. Even while they’re on “hiatus,” the still somehow manage to keep the rumor mill churning and the headlines printing, don’t they?
According to Billboard, Harry Styles signed a recording contract all by himself with Columbia Records. He’s been off filming scenes for the new Christopher Nolan war film ‘Dunkirk’, but clearly took some time off to close this humongous music deal that’ll set his solo career in motion. Columbia is part of the Sony music family that’s been behind One Direction from the start.
Louis Tomlinson, on the other hand, is venturing into television rather than movies or solo music. He’s been announced as one of the four guest judges on this season of America’s Got Talent, amongst George Lopez, Reba, and Neyo.

Niall hasn’t signed any massive deals, but he has been making waves on social media. He took to Twitter to urge UK residents to vote to have England remain in the European Union, loudly voicing his displeasure at the result.
It's a sad day . The economic impact that this is going to have is definitely going to make those voters regret their decision

Niall later added, “How can you sway that many people into thinking their health service is going to be funded and when the vote goes your way … Tell them we shouldn’t have said that and it was a mistake. Bullshit .”
So that’s what you missed on the latest episode of Keeping Up With One Direction. Oh, and apparently Liam got some more massive tattoos. See you next week!
