Can you believe that it’s been one year since Harry gifted us Fine Line? Because I can’t! So put on the JW Anderson cardigan you crocheted and clutch your Fine Line vinyl to your heart, because we are celebrating 365 days of this amazing record.
It feels like this album just came out yesterday (no, literally, I’ve lost track of time), but the fact of the matter is, Fine Line has proved to be a superior piece of music that will be talked about for years to come. Rolling Stone even ranked it number 491 this year on their list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Ever since we were introduced to this album back in 2019, fans everywhere were graced with hit after hit. Singles like “Lights Up,” “Adore You,” “Falling,” “Watermelon Sugar,” and “Golden” showed everyone that Harry was experimenting with a new sound — and boy did it pay off.
Styles just recently earned himself three GRAMMY Award nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance for “Watermelon Sugar,” and Best Music Video for “Adore You.”
So to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Fine Line, fans on Twitter started trending the hashtag #FineLineEve last night. Within this hashtag, fans not only reminisced when the album first came out, but they also tweeted their favorite photos and moments of Styles himself and hosted streaming parties of his second studio album.

Fine Line may be a year old but if there’s one thing for sure, it’s that Styles is on his way to creating more “Golden” music for us to listen to and enjoy.
Happy 1 Year, Fine Line!
