November is packed with One Direction anniversaries, and United By Pop reminds you it’s okay to cry with your 1D bear, wear your merch proudly, and sing your heart out. Directioners have been together from the X Factor days to world tours—we’re family.
Below is a list of the key dates every One Direction fan should mark on their calendar this month.
-November 3rd (Story of My Life Music Video’s Anniversary)
-November 6th (“History” single anniversary and the last 1D song ever)
-November 9th (Take Me Home’s Anniversary)
-November 13th (Made In the A.M’s Anniversary)
-November 17th (Four’s Anniversary and The Today Show Performance Anniversary)
-November 18th (Up All Night’s Anniversary)
-November 23rd (1D Day’s Anniversary available on to stream on Youtube)
-November 25th (Midnight Memories’ Anniversary)
If you need to be with others during this emotional time, consider attending one of these limited-time events to honor our boys. These events are beings held worldwide. Please note that at this time a lot of people are selling fake merch. Be cautious of your purchases and ask other fans for help if you need to.
1.) You can get official 1D merch from the O2 Arena. On the first floor of the iconic arena, you can find original trademarked 1D merch. The best part is that you don’t need a concert ticket to enter the building. The worse part is that once the merch is sold out, it’s gone. Each item is reminiscent of OG One Direction memorabilia and screams, “Take Me Home.”
2.) If you are unable to go to London, Walmart sells One Direction Unofficial Merch on their website. Be careful and read the reviews before making a purchase. Additionally, if you are a reader and love 1D fine printed photos, Amazon and Barnes and Nobles websites have a limited number of copies of their books. The e-reader and fine print readers should still be available on some websites.
3.) For American Directioners, check out fan-hosted dance party tribute nights like Live While You’re Young, Up All Night, or Club 90s DJ Night for Liam. Sing and dance your heart out with fellow fans!
4.) International directioners have the lucky chance to see the film that recapped the band’s pivotal journey to fame. This is us will be streaming in select theaters. According to recent articles the past screenings were in America last month. Whereas, the future screenings will be held in Italy, Germany, Ireland, and the UK. 5.) If you live in the Washington D.C, Maryland, or Virginia area and know every song lyric, this party is for you. DJ Steven Dotson is holding the ultimate 1D dance party on November 23rd at Peabody Night Club. Tickets are available to purchase on this website for Virginia Beach events.
We are all here for each other during this difficult time. Reach out to people online in fandom communities or on social media pages. We could all really use a fandom friend right now.
