We have dug through the Jonas archives and have narrowed down some of their most iconic moments to just 20 to celebrate their 20th anniversary. No better way to celebrate the special occasion than taking a trip down memory lane, right?

1 – ‘It’s About Time’ release

Taking it all the way back to the beginning, It’s About Time is Nick, Joe and Kevin’s debut album and was released in 2006. The album includes their cover of “Year 3000” which was ultimately what catapulted them into the spotlight and caught the attention of Disney Channel bosses.

2 – Camp Rock release

I would argue that Camp Rock is what turned the Jonas Brothers into the band we know and love today. This Disney Channel original movie was released in 2008, starring Demi Lovato too, and brought the brothers international fame and recognition. Hands up if you also first met the Jonas Brothers when they starred as Connect 3!

3 – The ‘Oh, how the tables have turned’ meme and the 2019 recreation

Now if you are an OG Jonas Brothers fan you will absolutely remember this popular meme. They first recorded the video in 2008 and uploaded it to their YouTube channel, this then turned into a viral meme years later. Then when they reunited musically in 2019, they recreated it which is just as iconic as the first video.

4 – When they were the epitome of Y2K style

Y2K has only recently started becoming trendy but back in the 2000s when it was actually trendy, the Jonas Brothers were the ones that rocked it best. Some of their outfits were questionable looking back but at the time they were the height of fashion.

5 – The Disney Channel Games

One of the most legendary things to ever come out of Disney Channel – the Disney Channel games! The Jonas Brothers participated in the network’s games against other stars from the time and it was iconic then and iconic now. It’s all of your childhood favourites packed into one place competing against each other, watch a clip above.

6 – Their iconic friendships with Selena, Miley and Demi

Speaking of Disney Channel, we can’t not mention Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato. Nick, Joe and Kevin spent a lot of time together with these three Disney Channel sweethearts and they all even had a song together (‘Send It On’). If you weren’t super involved in these iconic friendships and then the drama when the six fell out, what were you even doing in the 2000s?

7 – Joe dancing to ‘Single Ladies’

Similar to the ‘how the tables have turned’ meme mentioned earlier, this video was posted to the Jonas Brothers YouTube channel in 2009. It is exactly what it sounds, Joe Jonas dancing to Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies’ in a black leotard. Familiarise yourself above.

8 – Their song named ‘Bounce’ with Demi Lovato

Going back to Demi Lovato… The Jonas Brothers teamed up with her in 2010 to release a song named ‘Bounce’ and it even featured their security guard, Big Rob. It was a parody rap song and they even filmed a music video for it.

9 – When they played cherubs in Night At The Museum

Everyone has seen the Night At The Museum films but did you know that the Jonas Brothers had a cameo in the second film? They played the cherubs and even had to attend a ‘cherub boot camp’ with director Shawn Levy.

10 – Reunion in 2019

Arguably the brothers’ most ICONIC moment yet! When Nick, Joe and Kevin confirmed they were reuniting again musically in 2019 fans all over the world rejoiced. What a moment to be a fan! It was a moment we’d all counted down till since their split in 2013.

11 – The Carpool Karaoke from 2019

Who doesn’t love sitting down and watching a Carpool Karaoke? The Jonas Brothers joined James Corden in the segment from The Late Late Show back in 2019 to sing along to some of their hits in celebration of their reunion.

12 – The Billy on the Street segment

If you are not familiar with Billy on the Street, it is an American comedy game show where Billy goes onto the streets of New York City and asks people about pop culture. This time in 2019 he took the Jonas Brothers with him to hype up their reunion and the public’s reactions were mixed but it is very funny. Watch the segment above.

13 – The release of their documentary ‘Chasing Happiness’

Released in 2019, just after their reunion announcement, Chasing Happiness is a documentary that showcases the Jonas Brothers in the 2000s and 2010s with all the fame and success. Then it shows the brothers talking about the delicate subject of their split in 2013 and how they all reconciled to reunite in 2019. Even if you aren’t a hardcore Jonas fan this is a must-watch. But be warned, it is super emotional and you will most definitely cry! Brb off to rewatch it right now.

14 – Them impersonating the Kardashians

We’ve already touched twice upon the Jonas Brothers being the Kings of memes and this is another one of those instances, this time on TikTok. They decided to reenact a scene from Keeping Up With The Kardashians and it is GOLD.

15 – ‘Rollercoaster’ being the intro of their Happiness Begins tour

This one goes out to all my fellow OG Jonas fans. I thought it was extremely special that Nick, Joe and Kevin used this song as the intro for their reunion tour. If you know, you know.

16 – When they recreated their Camp Rock scene

Another meme! Nick, Joe and Kevin have proved many times that they’re not shy to take the mick out of themselves. This is one of those times. They recreated their famous Camp Rock scene in 2020 and committed so hard that they even wore wigs to match their 2008 hairstyles. (This is my personal fave meme!)

17 – The release of the Jonas Brothers Family Roast

This show is an interesting one, if you haven’t watched it is definitely worth the watch. It is a comedy show designed around roasting Nick, Joe and Kevin that includes sketches, songs and games. It’s hosted by Kenan Thompson and features many other famous faces.

18 – The Five Albums, One Night Tour

This last tour, which spanned from 2023 and ended in late 2024, was essentially their Eras Tour. The Jonas Brothers played music from all five of their albums and were on stage for a lengthy amount of time. It was absolutely their best tour yet!

19 – Bringing out Big Rob to sing with them in 2024

This has got to be one of the Jonas Brothers’ most iconic moments of recent times! Whilst on tour last year, in Mexico (and Lisbon), they were joined on stage by their former security guard Big Rob to sing his part in ‘Burnin’ Up’. In the year 2024 – incredible or what?

20 – Jonas Con

To round off the nostalgic trip down memory lane is the Jonas Con announcement! The brothers revealed that they will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with many exciting projects, the first being a convention centred around them in New Jersey this March. Find out more information here.

Thank you to the Jonas Brothers for providing us with all of these iconic moments and memories! I think I’m safe to speak for the whole fanbase when I say it has been the best 20 years with you all, we can’t wait for the next 20.
