The second single of BTS’s fourth Japanese was written by the group’s makne Jungkook. His inspiration to write the lyrics came after reading the script and watching a preview of the movie.
The story between the protagonists was well captured by Jungkook in the romantic lines the song carries. The other members were quick to shower the youngest with compliments for his beautiful production. V even said that he feels sorry for the album’s first single, Stay Gold, because Your Eyes Tell is definately his favorite one.
Jungkook explained that the track was supposed to be added to his upcoming mixtape (that we’re all anxiously waiting for) but it felt right to add it to the band’s new album. A wise decision since Your Eyes Tell has reached a 100 number #1s on iTunes around the world joining Adele’s Hello, BTS’s Black Swan and V’s Sweet Night achievements on the platform.
BTS performed the single during a TV promotion and a showcase for the album’s release and the viewers were impressed by their beautiful vocals making both, the band and the song, trends on Twitter and Japanese’s outlets.
We’ve been listening to the track nonstop and added it to all of our playlists. Hopefully we all will live a love as beautiful as Jungkook’s lyrics.
