BTS dropped ‘Butter‘ less than a week ago, and the hit is already breaking records everywhere. According to Guinness, the band’s newest single has broken five world records across YouTube and Spotify.

Dynamite,’ BTS biggest hit until now, has been dethroned in record time on YouTube. ‘Butter’ holds four records in total on the platform, including one for most viewers for the premiere of a music video and one for most viewers for the premiere of a video on Youtube with 3.9 million concurrent viewers.

ARMY worked really hard to break BTS’s own record for most-viewed YouTube music video by a K-pop group and most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours with 108,200,000 views. So far, the ‘Butter’ video has reached 223 million views (and they keep increasing by the minute).

On Spotify, ‘Butter’ broke the record that belonged to Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s ‘I Don’t Care,’ becoming the most-streamed track on the platform in the first 24 hours. It gathered 11,042,335 global streams in one day only.

The single is also making history on US radio stations, and now BTS is the first international group to close 100% of the US Top 40 Radio Panel on release week. ‘Butter’ is the most-added song on US Pop Radio with 180 adds this week.

During the global press conference for ‘Butter,’ Suga was asked if they could reach another No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The rapper — who is usually right on his predictions — said that they could see it happening.

We know that there’s no limit to what BTS and ARMY can pull off together. What BTS and ARMY want, they can certainly get! All we have to do is wait and enjoy all the ‘Butter’ performances.
