After JLS split up back in 2013, it was pretty obvious to me that Aston Merrygold would go solo. In my opinion, he was definitely the strongest member vocally (and my favourite, not going to lie). We were lucky enough to have a chat with him back in October and caught up with what he was up to, the release of his single ‘I Aint Missing You‘ and had major LOLs when we tested him on how well he knew his Instagram posts. Since then, it looks as though he’s been pretty busy. From appearances on ‘The Late Late Show‘ with James Corden to the release of yet another single and music video for new track ‘Too Late’.
Not only have we had a new music release from our boy Aston, oh no! He’s only gone and revealed that he’ll be doing a debut solo performance at the O2 Academy in London next year. So make sure you write May 5th 2017 down in your diary because you’re definitely not going to want to miss this. I seriously cannot cope with the amount of people touring in 2017. I have lost count how many people I am seeing already. and my bank balance is crying as a result. But hey, you only live once and if it’s a gig I want to go to then I will do anything to be there. Having just read that presale tickets to see Aston sold out in under 10 minutes, I’m anticipating that the general release sale tickets will be in high demand too.
When do they go on sale?
For those Aston fans out there you’re not going to want to miss this solo debut so make sure you’re poised at your computers tomorrow, Friday 16th December at 9am to snap yours up before the touts get their hands on them. I’ve found a few sites you can get them on, you can thank me later.
Where can I buy tickets from?
Tickets are available here from Gigs And Tours, but you can also get them from Live Nation, Ticketmaster and See Tickets.
