Which new Harris Reed looks Harry Styles should wear
Looking like it could've walked straight out of The Met's Costume Institute, we are hoping Harris Reed's graduate collection will be carefully couriered over to Harry Styles, who we know would embody so much of Harris' intent in the collection: fluidity, strength, and ambition.
Congratulations to Harris Reed whose really beautiful graduate collection, Thriving in Our Outrage, was finished impeccably under lockdown with limited space and materials. Looking like it could’ve walked straight out of The Met‘s Costume Institute, we are hoping it’ll be carefully couriered over to Harry Styles who we know would embody so much of Harris’ intent in the collection: fluidity, strength, and ambition.
Harris Reed has come a long way from Amsterdam’s pirate prince look, an outfit we still dream about years later. The flares are bigger, the prints are bigger, the silhouettes are much bigger. It seems with this, Harris’ confidence has also grown. Well worth a deep dive on Instagram to enjoy all the collection, here are just a few stand-out looks that we’d love Harry to wear.
Feeling just as romantic as Harry’s original Met Gala look, this sheer sleeve silhouette is stunning and would be a great fit for Harry. A big enough flare to satisfy his love of suits and a sleeve that will showcase some of his tattoos, this is absolutely one for Harry on tour.
Getting slight Harry in Gucci Osaka 2018 vibes from this look (more of Harry in black and white please) the geometric shapes of this suit are great fun. Harry knows how to work a suit on stage but the beautiful bow on this would elevate his look and give him a chance to showcase clothes with incredible movement, just like we saw in his Falling music video.
We haven’t seen Harry in that high of a heel yet, probably because he loves to run across the stage and really get into the groove of his dance moves, but if he was going to branch into platforms for that extra boost on stage, these gorgeous collaborations between Harris Reed and Roker Boots would be the platforms to pick. Such a sparkly statement piece, our own knees would shake if we saw these strutting across the stage.
Thriving in Our Outrage showcases Harris Reed’s best work yet. We are so excited for their future and we hope their label will be hanging in Harry Styles‘ wardrobe for a long time, continuing with bold silhouettes that encourage Harry to be free.
